Find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions here, or visit our full FAQ section for additional information and support.
What suspension upgrades are available for the 2002 - 2009 GX?

AccuTune offers front shocks, rear shocks, upper control arms, springs, and complete Stage Kit systems engineered specifically around the 2002 - 2009 GX's suspension geometry and weight distribution.

Do I need new upper control arms when I lift my 2002 - 2009 GX?

Aftermarket upper control arms become necessary once you lift your 2002 - 2009 GX more than 2 inches or run extended-travel coilovers, since the factory arms limit travel and can throw off alignment at that height. AccuTune's tubular UCAs are built to accommodate larger tires and longer shocks while keeping proper alignment geometry intact.

Can AccuTune re-valve or tune shocks I didn't buy from them for my 2002 - 2009 GX?

Yes — AccuTune offers dedicated Off-Road Shock Tuning as a standalone service, so 2002 - 2009 GX owners can send in existing Fox, King, or Ride Shocks and have them re-valved rather than buying new ones. This is a popular option if your weight or driving style has changed since your original shock purchase.

How do I know which Stage Kit is right for my 2002 - 2009 GX?

It comes down to your lift height and how the truck is used: Stage 1 suits lightly modified street builds up to 2" of lift, Stage 2 adds control arms for geometry correction, Stage 3 handles heavier accessory loads, Stage 4 is the most popular setup for serious off-road use, and Stage 5 is built for competitive or long-travel builds. AccuTune's free phone consultation can help match the right stage to your 2002 - 2009 GX and driving style.
