Total Chaos long travel kits push wheel travel well past factory limits, built for high-speed off-road running rather than pavement alone. Long travel suspension increases wheel travel well beyond a mid-travel kit by changing control arm length and geometry rather than simply relocating a mounting point; longer arms move the wheel through a wider arc, which is what lets the suspension soak up bigger hits at higher speed.
