Total Chaos Fabrication is a longtime name in IFS long-travel suspension, known for control arms and kits built and proven in the Tacoma and 4Runner desert racing scene. Long travel suspension increases wheel travel well beyond a mid-travel kit by changing control arm length and geometry rather than simply relocating a mounting point; longer arms move the wheel through a wider arc, which is what lets the suspension soak up bigger hits at higher speed.

Long travel means significantly more wheel travel than a mid-travel setup, generally at the cost of a wider overall stance and the need for matched, longer-stroke shocks. Alongside Dirt King, Total Chaos is one of the two names most associated with heavy-duty, desert-proven fabricated suspension components.
