4Runner Front Shocks

Front shocks are usually the first thing 4Runner owners upgrade, since they control both ride quality and how the front end reacts to bigger hits. Ride quality, control, and how well a shock handles towing versus off-road use all come down to valving matched to your specific weight and use, which is exactly what a re-valve does that an off-the-shelf shock can't. Many owners search this as "front coilovers" instead of "front shocks," since the independent front suspension here uses a true coilover assembly rather than a separate spring and shock.
