Fox Coilovers

Fox coilover shocks are the most popular suspension upgrade AccuTune sells, available in 2.0", 2.5", and 3.0" body diameters that cover virtually every truck and SUV application, from a street-focused daily driver to a full desert race build. The Fox 2.0 IFP is an excellent entry-level coilover for street-focused builds and moderate off-road use on lighter vehicles. The Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoir is the most popular size for serious Tacoma, 4Runner, Silverado, Bronco, and Wrangler builds, with the remote reservoir significantly increasing oil volume and improving heat management on extended off-road sections; it's available in standard and Performance Elite configurations.

The Performance Elite Series with DSC adds a Dual Speed Control adjuster that changes damping from the cab, soft for the highway and firm for the trail, without tools, making it the top choice for dual-purpose builds where conditions change often. The Fox 3.0 is a race-grade diameter built for maximum oil volume, heat capacity, and damping force, suited to long travel systems, prerunners, and performance desert builds. Every Fox coilover sold by AccuTune is re-valved in-house before shipping, matched to your specific vehicle and use rather than a generic factory curve.

Fox Coilovers FAQs

Find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions here, or visit our full FAQ section for additional information and support.
Which Fox 2.5 coilover should I choose — Remote Reservoir or Performance Elite?

The Remote Reservoir is excellent value for most serious street and off-road builds. The Performance Elite Series adds DSC (Dual Speed Control) adjusters that let you change damping from the cab — ideal for builds that go from highway to trail regularly.

Is Fox 2.0 good enough for serious off-road use?

Fox 2.0 Performance Series coilovers work well for moderate off-road use on lighter vehicles. For heavier trucks, accessories, or aggressive terrain, the 2.5" diameter's additional oil volume and damping capacity is worth the upgrade.

How long do Fox coilovers last?

With proper installation, correct spring rate, and periodic maintenance, Fox 2.5 coilovers routinely last 50,000–100,000+ miles. AccuTune offers in-house rebuild and re-valve service when maintenance is needed.
