Shock Tuning Options
Adventure Tune - For smooth on-road and off-road use. NO TOWING/Heavy Loads without adjusters on the shocks. This is our most popular tune for those wanting a smooth ride for mainly street, with some off-road.
Dual Sport Tune - For vehicles with taller lifts or carrying heavy loads without adjusters. Moderate off-road use.
Trail Tune - For vehicles wanting to drive faster off-road or needing better handling. Great for a more dedicated off-road vehicle.
Tuning Options from AccuTune Offroad are based on several factors including the vehicles weight and terrain preference. Tuning stages start at Street Tune and go up to Trail Tune. Each step up in stage will stiffen the valving resulting in better handling, better off-road capability, and better bottoming control at the expense of comfort, especially on the street. Bigger tires and lower air pressures can compensate for the stiffer valving.
Rear Spring OptionsEibach 1” Most popular choice, works great for stock weight or with up to 250 additional pounds of accessories.
Icon 2” Good option for vehicles looking for more height, with at least 250lb of weight in the back.
Icon 3” Overland Ideal for the ultimate overland vehicle with a tremendous amount of weight in back. This includes large tire carrier, bumper, fuel cans, fridge, tent top etc.
For a 2.5" lifted front and level ride:
1" spring with up to 200 lb
2" spring with 400 lb
3" spring with 650 lb
For a 2.5" lifted front slight rear rake:
2" spring with 200 lb
3" spring with 400 lb
**3" spring not recommended with less than 400 lb of constant weight in the back.

Compression adjusters are useful when changing weight (light DD, heavy weekend warrior), changing terrain (tight handling on-road, soft off-road), and for ultimate control over your ride quality (handling vs harshness). Low speed compression damping adjustment controls handling vs harshness on washboard and gravel roads. High speed compression controls damping on speed bumps, pot holes, and whoops. Fox 2.0's are available with Low Speed Compression (LSC) adjustment. Fox 2.5's are available with separate high and low speed compression adjustments (DSC). King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers
The front of 4Runner's use A-Arms with a large motion ratio so large shocks are required to provide off-road capability. King 2.5 coilovers provide the diameter necessary to make the damping force required to prevent your 4Runner from being too bouncy. The remote reservoirs decrease the operating pressure for a smoother ride and longer life span. The extended travel allows for lift heights up to 2.5" without the suspension over extending. AccuTune Offroad Upper Control Arms
After market upper control arms are needed when lifting your 4Runner over 2” or when using extended travel coilovers. AccuTune Offroad Upper Control Arm is designed to fit larger tires and longer shocks, while maintaining proper alignment. Tubular steel design looks great with high quality powder coat finish. FK Rod ends are sealed to keep dirt and debris from premature wear and noise. Heim joints come pre-set and ready to install.
King 2.5 Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks
Toyota 4Runner's carying heavy loads or seeing serious off-road use should use a large diameter 2.5 shock for greater durability and tunability. These particular shocks are longer travel King rear shocks which we configure to fit the rear of your 4Runner. We know all the best valving tricks to make these perform well on the back of your 4Runner.
Eibach Rear Springs
Eibach rear springs provide up to a 1 lift to the rear of your 10+ Toyota 4Runner.
Icon Rear Coil Spring
These 2" Lift Coil-springs improve your on and offroad ride quality. The slightly higher spring helps with load bearing capacity while increasing ride height to clear larger tires.
