Engineer

AccuTune Off-Road is looking for an experienced Suspension Engineer to design high performance suspension products. The ideal candidate has experience designing and building off-road suspension systems using engineering calculations and 3d CAD software (Solidworks). Experience with shock absorber design & tuning is a huge plus, but not required. We are a company of off-road enthusiasts whose goal is to make and sell the best possible products, we are looking to hire like-minded people.

AccuTune Off-Road specializes in making off-road vehicles ride and drive exceptionally well by providing customers custom tuned shocks and geometry corrected suspension kits. Nearly every shock we sell is disassembled and custom tuned for the persons vehicle, their modifications, and their terrain/driving style. Our suspension components are designed to improve ride quality, off-road performance, durability, and tire fitment. We have been growing very quickly and this is an excellent opportunity to get in early and grow with the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design off-road suspension products such as Jeep Long Arm Kits, Upper Control Arms, Lift Springs, etc. in accordance with product requirements.
  • Design production tooling to make new products and improve production of existing products.
  • Evaluate designs using engineering principals, hand calculations, and computer simulations.
  • Create 3d models and drawings in Solidworks using best practices & GD&T.
  • Create testing requirements and design test equipment.
  • Conduct fitment, performance & durability tests.
  • Work with suppliers to source new products & improve existing products.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Manage engineering change process.
  • Maintain project schedules.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • 4-10 years’ experience in engineering role, and at least 2 years designing off-road suspension.
  • Experience with the off-road industry & popular platforms for universal fit (Ultra 4, Jeeps, rockcrawlers, prerunners, VW, sand rail, buggies, common racing classes, etc.) and OEM fit (Toyota, Jeep, Chevy, Ford, Dodge).
  • Active off-road enthusiast with hands on suspension experience (eg, fabrication and installation of suspension parts).
  • Experience with common software (Solidworks, Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
  • Excellent written, verbal, intrapersonal communication skills; ability to call, connect and interact with customers and coworkers.
  • Excellent time management skills. Ability to set and maintain project schedules.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized while handling multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

AccuTune Off-Road is looking for an experienced Graphic / Web Designer to join our team and help us grow. This is an in-house position only. The ideal candidate will be well rounded with graphic design skills and have a strong focus on website design. Experience managing and developing a ecommerce site is a must. This position will be focused on web design and making our site perform as best as possible while supporting the marketing team as needed. We have been growing very quickly and our Marketing Team is looking for an experienced candidate to help grow the company even more.

Key Responsibility: 

  • Disassemble, revalve, and reassemble Fox & King smoothies, air shocks, and coilovers. 
  • Follow written work instructions to correctly install valving and change hose orientation.

We are growing and looking for Level 4 Race Shock Technician. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ experience working on shocks and modifying them. We are looking for someone that is ingrained in the automotive off-road industry and wants to continue the advancement of themselves and the company through training peers and working with the race teams we support. 

Key Responsibility: 

  • Service (rebuild, revalve, customize) all types of off-road shocks from all manufacturers. 
  • Perform the highest quality work to service race shocks, identify and repair all potential failure points, reassemble shocks in like new condition. 
  • Modify shocks and make tooling (welding, lathe, mill, grinder). Add, move, modify IBP holes. Add, move, modify external bypass tubes.

Sales Manager

We are growing and looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience managing an inside sales team in the automotive industry and can help us establish best practices. 

Key Responsibility: 

  • Manage sales team, set roles, distribute work, provide mentoring and training, complete performance reviews, in order to achieve sales and customer service goals. 
  • Establish SOP and key performance metrics to evaluate company & employee performance. 
  • Manage installation service and schedule. 
  • Coordinate with leadership team to set sales and customer service goals. Report on progress. 
  • Continuously improve employee training and company procedures to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibility:
